Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, and individuals
- Assist in tax projections and quarterly estimated tax calculations
- Conduct basic tax research and assist with related planning matters
- Support senior staff and leadership with data gathering and workpaper preparation
- Identify potential tax savings and compliance issues
- Communicate with clients to gather relevant tax documentation
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and regulations
- Mentor junior team members if senior level
- Contribute to team learning and continuous improvement
- Embrace small team collaboration and growth vision
You should have most of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0–5 years of relevant tax preparation experience
- CPA license, active candidacy, or intent to pursue preferred
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax return preparation
- Ability to conduct tax research and apply findings
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software
- Desire to work in a small, rebuilding team environment
