We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsOur Clinical Lab Scientists perform clinical testing in one or more of the following areas: blood bank, chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, microbiology and manual tests. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!You will perform automated, semi-automated and manual procedures in the fields of bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, coagulation, serology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and immunohematology. According to established procedures and policiesYou will perform preventative maintenance on laboratory instrumentation, interpret results as to their accuracy, acceptability and critical limits and organizes work to meet established deadlines and record all data obtainedYou will work actively and be cooperative with nursing and other hospital staff to ensure timely patient care as well as assist with regulatory complianceWhat qualifications you will need:Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license per CA State BoardBachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent from an accredited college or universityAt least one year of acute care hospital experience; new grads will be consideredGood Samaritan Hospital has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patient's access to highly trained physicians and advanced technology.
